1.Privacy Statement

1)When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our brand, store, new products and other updates.

2)When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

3)Our online store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.So your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

4)By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

 5)We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

 

 If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.

 

6)We will not use your telephone number unless we need to contact you regarding your order (e.g. if we are out of stock, item revisions, payment questions, etc). We do not sell or rent your telephone number to anyone.

Your email address is used to send your order confirmation and shipment tracking information. You may be sent an email from us asking if you want to join our email newsletter list, or for limited promotions or feedback. You can opt out of receiving further promotion or feedback emails at any time. We do not sell or rent your email address to anyone.

2.Order Policies

1)Orders can be submitted via our website, phone,  or mail. Submitting orders through the web site is the quickest and preferred method. This will allow us to begin processing your order right away. 

We sell to individuals, organizations, and businesses, and have no minimum order requirement.  Ordering more quantities helps lower your shipping cost as compared to the total order cost.

2)Orders are processed Monday through Friday. We normally process orders within 1 business day. Orders are not processed on company holidays, which include New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, National Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve Day.

3)We ship items via Canada Post. The expedited charges are based on order weight, destination, and speed. Choose the shipping method you prefer when you check out.  We reserve the right to ship your items in the most economical manner that will reach you by the estimated arrival date.

4)We occasionally offer promotion codes to our customers. Promotion codes are based on a % off, $ off, free item, or free shipping. Promotion codes are usually based on a minimum and/or maximum purchase, or restricted to specific items. Promotion codes have an expiration date or may be listed as "while supplies last”.

Each promotion code may have a different requirement or discount. All requirements must be met to receive your discount or special offer. Redeeming promotion codes during the payment process is easy. Simply enter your promo code in the area designated in the shopping cart as you checkout, and it will automatically be applied to your purchase.

5)If you receive an order with candy or lollipop that is missing, damaged, or not the item you ordered, please call or email us within 5 business days of the receipt of the order, as determined by our shipment tracking information.  

Note that large orders may be shipped in several different boxes and arrive on different days. Please also note on flavour assortment items that not all flavours may be in every bag or box. Sometimes, due to wrapper changes, one or more flavours may not be available for a short period of time.

We cannot guarantee any meltable items due to the features of candy.We cannot accept returns on opened candy or lollipop. For returns or exchanges on unopened candy packages, please email to info@pollipop.ca with your order information.

You must receive prior authorization from Customer Service before returning items. Refunds for returns exclude shipping costs, and the customer is responsible for shipping the product back to us in its original condition. 

Refunds may be a full refund, partial refund (minus shipping), or a full or partial credit on a future order. 

If items are refused at delivery, original and return shipping costs will be charged to the purchaser's original form of payment. 

6)To check the status of your order, registered customers can log into our website and look at the status and copy or click on the tracking number. 

7)We usually do not need to backorder, as we keep ample inventory, and many items are produced here in our factory.  If necessary, we automatically backorder merchandise not shipped with your original order. The backorder will be cancelled if we cannot ship within 30 days, and your credit card will credited.
